3 – Edge cutting machine

Description:
This machine cuts the corners of the pallet. It is composed of a metallic base with guide runners that move horizontally, on all 4 sides, on which there are 12 circular blades (3 for each motor, thus producing sawdust only during the corner cutting operation), each with an independent electric motor, It is therefore possible to move the 4 tools to the top point of an infinite range of rectangles included between the minimum and maximum dimensions of the pallets that can be produced. The saws and relative electric motors are fixed to the basement with a double guide. The pallet moved from the top to the bottom, pushed and also halted by pneumatic cylinders. The machine is provided with:

Screw regulation for the width-wise position of the blade;
Screw regulation for the lengthwise position of the blade;
Screw regulation of the pallet carrier basket;
Motorised introduction of pallet;
12 blades.

Notes:
A table can be placed below the edge cutting machine (model TG/90°) to turn the pallet 90° horizontally. Rotation is driven by a geared motor, which allows for expanding the functions of the pallet stacker downstream of the edge cutting machine.
